Joan Bazar died peacefully late morning, Friday, December 22nd, at her home in California.  Her daughters were with her.

The well-attended WILPF Fall Gathering was an opportunity for new and old members to meet each other and hear reports from Randa Solick who attended the 2017 Democracy Convention, and from the three members, Cappy Israel, D Nunns, and Nancy Glock-Gruenich, who attended the WILPF Congress.

Our DISARM/EndWars petition campaign to ban nuclear weapons has gotten off to a good start. Thanks to donor support, we have hired a social media expert to publicize the campaign, and draw signers to our on-line petition.
