On Thursday, March 8th—International Women’s Day—WILPF US sponsored its first ever PUBLIC ONE WILPF Call. It focused on promoting WILPF as an organization that empowers women organizers. In the second part of the call, two speakers provided valuable information on election integrity.

The Advancing Human Rights issues committee is meeting monthly on the first Thursdays of each month, at 5 pm pacific / 6 pm mountain / 7 pm central / 8 pm eastern!

Ellen Rosser details the current situation in both Palestine and Israel. With conditions in Palestine “brutal” and “unstable,” and “in a state of flux” in Israel, she urges WILPF members to keep wishing and working for a just peace.

Do you know any young people (ages 18-29) working on anti-nuclear issues and actions locally to you? We have access to $600 for scholarship funds to help one (or more) young person active in WILPF to participate in the ANA's "DC Days" and annual meeting this May (May 20-25) to train and lobby on anti-nuclear issues.
