Human rights are daily realities of dignity, safety, and freedom that millions are denied through systemic oppression. WILPF’s human rights work connects gender justice, racial justice, LGBTQ+ rights, housing rights, and migrant justice to our peace analysis. We understand that violations of human rights, whether through police violence, immigration enforcement, or denial of bodily autonomy, are forms of state violence that must be challenged.
Advancing Human Rights Issue Committee
The Advancing Human Rights Issue Committee works at local, state, and federal levels to protect and expand human rights through education, advocacy, and collaboration across multiple justice-focused issue areas. Members meet monthly.
