The US military is one of the world’s largest polluters, and wars over resources accelerate environmental destruction while diverting funds from climate solutions. WILPF connects ecological justice to peace work, understanding that environmental destruction is violence against communities, future generations, and the planet itself.

The Earth Democracy Issue Committee advances environmental justice by organizing research, education, and partnerships focused on protecting ecosystems, transitioning away from fossil fuels, and strengthening sustainable, community-based economies. Members meet monthly.
