War is a choice, and so is peace. WILPF organizes against the systems that make war profitable and normalize violence as foreign policy. From challenging multi-billion dollar nuclear weapons programs to demanding an end to endless military interventions, we connect militarism to every justice issue. That money could fund teachers, healthcare, and housing, instead it builds weapons of mass destruction and fuels global instability.
Disarm/End Wars Issue Committee
The Disarm/End Wars issue committee works with peace movement allies to advance disarmament and peace through public education, advocacy, and organizing campaigns that challenge militarism. Members meet twice monthly.
