The stubborn and persistent racism in the United States continues to be one of the elevated priorities to address in our advocacy.

WILPF works to achieve through peaceful means world disarmament, full rights for women, racial and economic justice, an end to all forms of violence, and to establish those political, social, and psychological conditions which can assure peace, freedom, and justice for all.

During ANA "DC Days," Representatives John Lewis and  Raul Grijalva agreed to co-sponsor HR-1976, the only bill in US Congress calling for abolition of nuclear weapons. WILPF members are urged to help find more co-sponsors, especially in the Progressive Caucus.
