WOMEN’S INTERNATIONAL LEAGUE FOR PEACE & FREEDOM UNITED STATES SECTION THIRTY-SECOND TRIENNIAL CONGRESS DETROIT, MICHIGAN August 3, 2014

Resolution passed unanimously by voice vote

Women of North America and Europe founded and have led WILPFInternational for the first century. Now is the time to embrace leadership from the “Global South.” We can practice the fine art of learning from and being led by new ideas from other cultural heritages, from acknowledging the leadership of our sisters from South and Central America, from Africa, from Asia, the Middle East and the Pacific.

We urge support for these WILPF sisters for positions on the WILPF International Executive Committee!
