Judy Adams and Cherrill Spencer set up tables, handed out flyers, and sparked conversation at Farmers Markets in various towns to protest the war in Ukraine and bring attention to WILPF’s DISARM and anti-war efforts. They greeted market shoppers with informative flyers and made personal connections while raising awareness and taking a stand for peace.

The original peace boat Golden Rule has been a historic anti-war vessel for decades. First sailed by Quakers in the 1950s in an effort to disrupt nuclear weapons tests, the organization Veterans for Peace now uses Golden Rule to run sailing events educating the public about the prevention of nuclear war.
