In WILPF, we build connections through local branch and national meetings and events where we "talk politics." Our in-person 2024 WILPF US Congress in Minnesota will be another way to connect. The Greater Philadelphia Branch (GPB) recently donated six books to the Kensington Library in Philadelphia. Some GPB branch members also took a tour of the Lest We Forget Slavery Museum, and the branch partnered with Korea Peace Now to bring the film Crossings to the UPenn campus and Philadelphia.
Fresno Earth Democracy held a well-attended World Water Day event on March 22 that featured a quiet walk along the San Joaquin River, Native American flute music by Lance Canales, and reflections by Dirk Charley on water from an Indigenous perspective.
