We invite YOU (individuals or branches) to sponsor women’s leadership and peace advocacy, providing five WILPF delegates with the rare opportunity to meet and collaborate with their global peers through the WILPF US programs at the March 2025 UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) meetings in New York City.

Our CSW program offers skill-building, advocacy training, and intergenerational collaboration. This year, our CSW program consists of a group of seasoned WILPF members in our Local to Global Program. The applicants have gone through a rigorous and competitive process, demonstrating a strong commitment to peace, justice, and human rights activism in their applications and essays. In years past, we have also sponsored younger activist delegates to attend through the Practicum in Advocacy Program. For 2025, the Practicum had to be suspended, but WILPF is committed to reinitiating the program in 2026.

Your sponsorship provides much-needed scholarships to help cover the expenses of our Local to Global delegates. We make a strong effort to draw our Local to Global delegates from a wide range of interests and incomes. The delegates attend high-level UN meetings, panel discussions, and events hosted by member governments and national/international non-governmental organizations, as well as events hosted by civil society organizations. They exchange ideas and deepen their peer-to-peer learning while engaging in international relations and advocacy work.

Each year, the CSW focuses on a theme that addresses a global need. For 2025, the theme is “Reviewing and appraising the implementation of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action and the outcomes of the 23rd special session of the General Assembly.” This year’s 69th CSW forum will be held from March 10 to 21, 2025.

Will you join other members in providing this once-in-a-lifetime, transformative international relations experience for our 2025 CSW delegates? Please see the varying levels here to participate in this exciting, life-changing program.
