Join WILPF’s Peace Teams Community of Practice
Regina Sneed, WILPF CA San Francisco Branch
WILPF members are invited to join our Peace Teams Community of Practice training sessions.
To support collective learning and exchange, the International WILPF Peace Team launched a Community of Practice where members can explore and share methodologies that help us facilitate safe spaces, navigate tensions, and address conflicts constructively—both within our organization and in our peace work.
Six of the ten planned sessions have already been completed, but there’s still time to participate in the remaining four training sessions and help bring this cultural building toolkit to WILPF’s US section and branches.
The next session will be announced soon. To sign up, please contact membership@wilpf.org.
Join Us Feb. 18: Share Your Input on Incorporating the Code of Conduct into Our Bylaws
Dee Murphy, Bylaws Committee member, and Darien De Lu, Bylaws Committee chair
Please join us on Wednesday, Feb. 18, for the Jane Addams Branch’s Bylaws Committee meeting on creating a safe and supportive culture within WILPF US. This presentation and discussion is open to all members and takes place at 5:00 p.m. PT/6:00 p.m. MT/7:00 p.m. CT/8:00 p.m. ET.
This meeting follows up on the December eNews article from the Bylaws Committee and seeks your feedback on the WILPF International Code of Conduct. What suggestions do you have to help ensure a sisterhood environment for WILPF US member volunteers?
The WILPF US Bylaws Committee will briefly present an update on committee discussions, followed by open discussion and your feedback. Your input will directly shape any proposed Bylaws amendments brought to a member vote.
We strongly encourage and welcome your constructive input. Please register for this virtual event using this link.
Thank you for your dedicated work and activism with WILPF US. We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday, Feb. 18.
