WILPF US Personnel Committee Seeking Volunteers

By D. Murphy, Personnel Committee chair

We are seeking volunteers to join WILPF US’s Personnel Committee. Experience in recruiting and evaluating employees or independent contractors, union leadership, or professional staff contracting is a plus but not required. If you are interested in shaping or gaining experience with WILPF’s personnel and contracting processes, we encourage you to join us.

Are you willing to roll up your sleeves and contribute to the work ahead? If any of this speaks to you, the Personnel Committee warmly welcomes you!

This is a wonderful opportunity for all WILPF members—including branch, at-large, and new members interested in future leadership roles—to join a national committee. Our amended bylaws now require at least one year of active service on a national committee or in a branch to qualify as a candidate for any WILPF US Board position.

The committee has important and meaningful work ahead. Members will work harmoniously and joyfully together. We value your commitment, ideas, and time—no matter your experience and background.

If interested, please email D. Murphy at personnelchair@wilpfus.org. Thank you for your work in making WILPF a great success.
