Call for Solidarity: Support Your Local Migrants’ Rights Organizations

Adrián Bernal, Advancing Human Rights Committee

The Border and Migration Justice subcommittee of the WILPF US Advancing Human Rights Issues Committee has an important announcement:

We encourage all branches to reach out to local organizations that are dedicated to protecting the human rights of migrants in your area. This document features 422 organizations working to support migrants across all 50 states.

Recently, members of the Greater Danbury Area United for Immigrants were actively monitoring for ICE activity. They spotted individuals posing as construction workers, which prompted them to raise the alarm.

These organizations could greatly benefit from our support. Please take a moment to review the list and consider how you might be able to connect with them.
