Building the Beloved Community

Our mission is to provide educational information about the history and nature of systemic racism and the racial connections between oppressions. Racial justice is not an issue that stands alone. It is a reality that intersects with all oppressions. The reading materials on our web page and in our email listserv also address internalized oppressions and the struggles to achieve true racial justice. BBC encourages WILPF members, branches, interested organizations and individuals to work in coalition with people concerned about racial, economic and social justice issues, whether it be on the local, national or international level.
